I have an older computer with a AMD athalon 3000+ processor, a Geforce 6800 graphics card, and 2 gig ram. I'd like to upgrade the graphics card because new games have seemed very laggy lately but I'm not sure how much it would help. I was thinking of upgrading to a 9800 but I'm not sure how much of an improvement I'll see. Any advice is appreciated!

Why not go on up to a 3850. Yes, I know the cpu is going to bottleneck it, but you will still be getting the most out of the system. Not sure how much you would see going from 6800 to 9800, but a big diff going from 6800 to 3850

It looks like a great card, the only concern I have is that my older PC has a 380 watt power supply and I'm not sure how much I can upgrade before I'm overwhelming the psu. Any suggestions are appreciated, thanks!
