Sony TV...

...does not recognize the Cruzer16 in the USB port for photographic slideshow purposes.
...all other memory sticks work.
...stick was formated.
...any thoughts?

SanDisk Cruzer uses its own proprietary U3 software. Your Sony TV has no operating system to recognize the U3 software. To use SanDisk Cruzer you will have to uninstall the U3 software from the drive (using control panel) and format it, then you can copy the pics you want to the formatted drive and use it on your TV.

Buy another stick, non SanDisk Cruzer. The tv just doesn't like it.

The Cruzer works in all devises except the 3 year old Sony.

Kingston 4 gig works in the Sony.

Could it be the memory size?

Could be memory size. My dads digital camera wouldn't work with 4 gig sticks but worked just fine with 2 gig sticks.
