This should help with the old "Fan Speed workaround" - it's now working in the driver.

This was an issue when the 4800 series was released. Fan too slow, temps too high. Now you can easily tune the fan and temps to your preference.

I am unsure. I don't own a Radeon; but I intend to soon. I presented this because I knew the fanspeed adjust would be appreciated. I cannot say re drivers for your card; and I would only be guessing. Does your current driver indicate anything? Take it from there.

I installed it on my pc i have HD3870 but the manual fan control in overdrive is not there? help anyone..

Its only on the 4xxx series I think

They dont fix anything about old opengl games like mohaa and rtcw, they still crashing in single player mode. Bad thing.

I gotta say, these Beta RC2 drivers are sweet, they are slightly unstable but they allow me to rape Crysis and Stalker, I'm talking ALL the settings maxxed on 1920x1200 with 4xAA as well.

It also helps that Stalker just released another great patch (their 3rd one since release lol)
