I'm not sure which motherboard to get to support my whole computer, I'm not too good with parts but I heard Asus is one of the best and most reliable so I'm going with that....

Specs:

Intel Core 2 Duo 3.0ghz e8400 ( might actually change to e8500 )
Evga GTX 260 896MB
Kingston Hyper X 4GB ddr2 800
Seagate 500gb HD

The motherboard I was leaning towards is the Asus P5QL -EM LGA 775.

Why buy a video card and a motherboard with onboard video? If you don't need a micro-ATX motherbaord and onboard video, the following motherbaords would be good buys:

GIGABYTE GA-EP45-UD3R

ASUS P5Q SE PLUS

GIGABYTE GA-EP45-DS3L

ASUS P5QL PRO

Onboard video is automatically disabled when a video card is installed, but do you require a micro-ATX motherboard? If you don't need a micro-ATX motherboard or onboard video, then the GIGABYTE GA-EP45-UD3R is a much better motherboard. Since you're buying an Evga GTX 260, you most likely won't be installing it in a micro-ATX case, will you?

Yes, but the Gigabyte GA-EP45-UD3P would be even better: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813128358&Tpk=GA-EP45-UD3P. That's the one that I use with my E8400 and 8GB of G.Skill memory. As a matter of fact, it's almost as good as my P5Q Deluxe and connecting SATA devices to the Gigabyte is a lot easier because of it's better layout.
