Hello all.

A couple of dayes ago i bouth the following ram.http://www.ec.kingston.com/ecom/configurator_new/partsinfo.asp?root=us&LinkBack=&ktcpartno=KVR800D2N6K2/4G

My motherboard is http://www.asus.com/products.aspx? [...] l2=11&l3=0
and my CPU is P4 3.20 Ghz.

The first thing i would like to point out is that my Bios say i have 4gb ram but windows xp sp3 that i use say i only have 2gb ram.

To continue, even if trying default setting for the ram plus overclocking (i tried 6-6-6-18 at 1.8v) the result were same. System tottally unstable. Also, pc is freezing totally in opening screen, after starting it up, if lets say i have an external usb mass storage device like a hard disk.

I think must be a voltage thingie to fix.

Thanks a lot in advance

I'd try resetting the bios,
or running Memtest on each stick to see if they are good RAM. Even good companies occasionally let messed up sticks through.
