I am going to be building a new computer in about a month or so. I am trying to keep it around $1500.

Here is what I am looking at right now (all from newegg)

MoBo: DFI LANPARTY DK X38-T2RB LGA 775 Intel X38
Video Cards: ASUS EAH4850/HTDI/512M Radeon HD 4850 (2x, crossfire)
Processor: Intel Core 2 Quad Q9550
Memory: G.SKILL 4GB (2 x 2GB) DDR2 800
Hard Drive: Western Digital Caviar 320GB 7200 RPM SATA 3.0Gb/s
Monitor: Acer P244Wbii Black 24" 2ms HDMI 16:9 Widescreen LCD Monitor

I have a case, power supply, Vista, and a DVD-RW drive.
I don't plan on overclocking.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

Very nice choices, I couldn't have done it any better myself.

Hold the phone! I wouldn't get all warm and fuzzy just yet on the build. What is the make and model of the PSU that your refering to?

Not sure because I don't have the box with me, but I think it is the hec ZEPHYR HEC-650DR-AT 650W. In any case, I am sure it is at least SLI certified because that is what I bought it for.

Max on the 12V rails is 48 amps, so it should do your 2x4850's well. Not sure on how well the warranty is, but at least you have enough amps to run what you want.
