My Computer has a Pentium Dual Core 2.2 ghz cpu in it.It seems fine and everything. However im intrested in upgrading it in the future.I know my motherboard is a socket 775.Will any socket 775 cpu fit in my motherboard? Are they just plug and play?I have installed one before on a old pentium 1 computer and im pretty sure that was just plug and play.Any help would be appreciated...The computer i have is a dell 530s so its not the most upgradeable unit. However im still intrested in it.Thanks

You will have to check with Dell support for your particular PC.
Find your exact model and year of PC, and it should tell you what can be upgraded, and what it will support.
Prebuilds are very limited on upgrades, they want you to buy a new PC, not upgrade what you have. Just because it has a socket 775, does not mean any socket 775 CPU will work. I would say you could probably upgrade to a faster Pentium D, but you must check to see what buss speeds/type of CPU your board and BIOS will support.
