Sapphire HD 4670 512MB GDDR3 £61

or

PNY 8800GT 256MB GDDR3 £46

My RiG isn't that great (because I got it free). My PCIe slot is physically x16, but the nForce for it (mobo) only supports x8.
I picked 4670 first becuase it's a newer card, then my friend said you'd be a fool to not buy an 8800 GT at that price.

So now you guys please help me decide.

Get the HD4670, the 8800GT is crippled by the 256MB. The HD4670 will be one step up from it.

You think the extra £15 is worth it just for 256 MB RAM?

An 8800GT with 512 MB RAM is ~£100!

1440x900 most of the time.
I will push for 1680x1050 too, but much less often.

Eek, no the 4850 is way too much; ~£100.
I was thinking about £50-60 on a GFX card.
