Identical HDDs fried PCBs

i had a mirror raid running when a power surge fried both PCBs on the same exact chip on the boards. to be short and quick, ive searched everywhere on info to replace them and everyone has a different situation or solution. im not sure which ones to try. i just need to know what to look for when buying a new drive or PCB. model number, firmware, DCM, PCB numbers? any help would be very appreciated!

i had one, im guessing it had already been previously though because it didnt protect from this one.

You could try looking here for the PCB replacement http://www.onepcbsolution.com If the pre-amp of your drive is damaged then its going to kill any replacement board you use.
