Is TurboV recommended?

Hey this is my first time building a PC and OCing seems almost a must for budget gaming pcs. Not knowing anything about overclocking, turboV looks like a nice option. Is it recommended and if i am keeping this computer for a WHILE should i overclock this PC?

TurboV, if we are talking about the Asus BIOS feature, allows you to test things in windows before actually committing to a BIOS Overclock.....useful, as continual rebooting is tiresome....Feature also duped by Asus's OC Station which mounts in a 5.25" case bay.

Successful windows OC doesn't translate necessarily to a successful BIO boot at same settings.
