cheap power supply?

I ordered a barebones kit from TigerDirect, and the case it comes with is a shoddy Power-Up 450W PSU.
I might go buy another powersupply before it gets here.

What's the minimum wattage I could get away with?

3GHz Pent D
3 gig ram
500gb SATA hd
1x optical
NV 8800 gs

How much should I spend?

The smallest psu I'd go with would be the Antec Earthwatts 380W. Just about any good quality brand psu should be able to run that just fine. Corsair, PCP&C, Seasonic, Antec, etc

Alright, thanks. So 400-450 would do alright, even when gaming?

Also, how much would a good deal be for one of those?

One more thing: If you can afford it you should get a PC Power & Cooling, Corsair, Antec, OCZ.

Well, I went to London Drugs and bought a 550 watt BFG PSU for $50, regular $100.
Figure I'll probably want some room to move around in the future.
Is BFG any good?
