For a new build over the next few months...

Too bad i missed out on the recent round of deals but there will always be more right?...

But could someone help me choose an appropriate MB?

I'm not planning on crossfire or SLI

I've looked at many of the threads here and i'm loving what i can do for around 600-800 excluding monitor (i've got one)... So i'm stalking the best deals and hopefully jumping on some as the weeks go buy. Time frame is up to BF at the latest.

SO for MB..... P45 or save the money and go P35. Will i get any appreciable benefit from going to P45? or is the savings better spent on a different component (upping the processor or upping the vid card)

FYI, i plan on a mild/mid OC. Not too interested in pushing the envelope i want something super solid and stable

No, you won't benefit from P45 if you don't crossfire. P35 can do the job for less. Look into GA-EP35-DS3L or DS3R (raid). If possible, find ABIT IP35-E (discontinued, but just as good as GA for even less). Abit is out of mobo biz, but they will honor the warranty.
