Problems with a full c drive

my c drive is full how can i get new programs onto d drive automaticly

When you install a program, it will ask you what path you want to install it to. Just change the path from C: to D:.

There is a program called ccleaner, that is great for helping to clean up garbage files. You may want to check it out.

Thank you for trying to help, unfortunately I don't seem to get the choice of c and d drive it just goes to C drive Trudy

If there's an option of doing a custom install, choose that.

Thanks again aford 10 shall try that in the next few days. The problem I know is there are to many programs and I don't want to part with any.

Try CCleaner. It is able to clear out a lot of temporary data on the HDD that may not be needed anymore. It's a completely free application.

Is C and D drives one hard drive split into two or are they separate hard drives? If it is one hard drive,you could get a demo or free partition software and resize your C drive
