That computer will have major issues if u try to OC.
The ram is cheap, mobo isnt a good OCer. 8500 isnt even worth it

Now after that i can see what your getting.

It depends on what you want out of the machine. If you want this for a general purpose non-gaming machine you havent done too bad... so thats what ill go off.

Q6600 is a tick

The SLI motherboard is a no for non gaming box. This one would be plenty enough ASUS P5QL-E

RAM is ok (although not available) any standard DDR2 ram at 533mhz or over will be fine for not overclocking.

The case you are paying for a PSU your not going to use. Antec Sonata III is a nice case with a good quality PSU, so get rid of the ultra.

You wont need the extra fan or even the CPU cooler if your not overclocking.

And the GPU is fine.


Now for a Gaming system do the same as above except swap the GPU for something like a 9800gt
