Ok then... I know there's a ton of these posts out there but I've had a hard time finding Canadian ones cause all of these nice deals are on newegg (who i don't think deliver up here).

So I've been looking for a motherboard that is cross-fire ready and a Radeon 4850. Except I don't know too much about motherboards but the CPU and Mobo combos at tigerdirect for cross-fire ready boards aren't so good... So can anyone recommend me a mobo and cpu combo with where to purchase in Canada?

I'm looking to keep the build as cheap as possible knowing that I only want Radeon 4850, Q6600 (at least? or is an E7200 better?), mobo (cross fire ready, but i will only get 1 GPU for now), RAM and a case and powersupply that can fit it all.

I don't plan on overclocking so... yes. Suggestions please :)

P5Q Pro $140 (save $17 if you buy while the promoid is still active i.e. today)

Palit HD 4850 with dual-slot cooler $160
http://www.ncix.com/products/index [...] media Inc.

If you're outside British Columbia you don't pay provincial tax at NCIX.

Q6600 $200 (if you buy today and use this promoid, you save $26)

I'll try to find the rest later.

There be where you are wrong. Newegg has a website for Canadians. It hasn't been released to the public yet but you can register for up to a $5K CAD shopping spree. Check it out at:
http://www.newegg.ca/

I dont know how much longer it will be but Newegg will be shipping to Canada before the years end. At least I hope so, I'd like to send some stuff to my brothers in Canada for Christmas this year.

Hope this helps you a little bit more. :D

He's right, Newegg doesn't ship to Canada. Amazon.com won't ship hardware to Canada either, even though they are happy to ship DVDs and books. I think it's a law thing.

The Canadian Newegg will be up in time for the Christmas sales, I'm 99% sure. For now, www.memoryexpress.com and www.ncix.com seem to have the best prices in Canada.

BestDirect and DirectCanada often have better prices than NCIX, particularly when shipping is taken into consideration. As with NCIX, they don't charge PST outside of B.C.

Good to know, thanks.

One more thing: some sites do price matching.
