I need to buy a monitor in the UK preferably 20 - 22 inches. Im a university student and will have to travel abroad with it after a year so the lighter it is the better.

Anyone have a recommendation

I'm really against moving monitors around. Bad things happen.

Most 22" monitors are around 10-12 lbs.

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Prod [...] 6824001268 is something I'd recommend.

That looks like a very good choice at 5.8 pounds

Okay, the problem with it listing as 5.8 lbs is something I find confusing.

You might want to check http://www.samsung.com/us/consumer [...] fullspec=F instead.

It says product weight is 11.2 lbs.

I really doubt it's lighter, but I recommended it because it's picture quality is good and samsung has good customer service (personal experience).
