Are there key signs someone should be looking for when Oc'ing there gpu for instabilities?
Like for instance, if the core clock is too high, there might be artifacting? what about if the mem clock is too high? what should happen?
i have my gigabyte 4850 at 700/1198, and after about 100mins of furmark, i see some slight artifacting.. so I exited the program.. what should I lower? I have an aftermarket heatsink on it, and on load it doesn't go passed 67C for the core, and the mem doesn't go higher than 78C, but there are no heatsinks on the memory ic's
should i put some on there? would it help the artifacting? or is it the lack of voltage? using the gigabyte gamer hud, i see my 4850's gpu is at 1.19volts, and i put my memory at +.03volts...
i know i've been askin alotta questions, jsut want the most out of my 4850... [i've seen the hard OC bios's, i don't know, i just don't trust them..besides, i don't know if my card is the original one, so i don't know if the bios will work or not]
