I've had my 3870 X2 for several months now. It never made a lot of noise before, not even while under load. The other day I started up my computer and the fan is obviously at 100%. I can hear it 2 rooms away. Highly annoying. I downloaded Rivatuner and tried to change the fan settings manually, but it has no effect. After restarting the fan is still at 100%. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Intel Extreme Mobo
Intel E8400 CPU @ 3.0GHz
Diamond Radeon 3870X2
4GB Corsair DDR 3
500 GB HD
