im building my own computer and I got everything installed well and nice and snug..but my only fear is connecting some of the cable the wrong way or wrong one sometimes...i refer to the mobo manuel but it doesn't answer all my questions but quick questions
Computer Case: Antec nine hundred
Mobo: Asus P5e
PWR SW the colors are black and white for the cable i know where it goes but not sure which direction it goes in
Hdd Led: blue and white
Reset SW:black and white

I dont know which is+ or which is - or positive or negative

help please

usually there is a tiny positive or negative on one of the leads, try the power switch one way, if it doesn't work switch it

Generally the white is negative.

switches dont matter, either thier is a open or a closed connection.

when I power up a computer outside the case, I use a screwdriver across the terminals to turn it on.

the LED might matter, but wont mess up anything beyond the light not working if you get it wrong.

but yes white is generally negative
