hello folks i have a problem, and i know im over looking somthing.i just got a gigabyte MB ga-ep45t-ds3r and i bought 4 gigs of memory ddr3.
the board has 4 slots 1 & 3 slots are green and 2 & 4 are pink, im not for sure how i lineup the two moduals.
when i fire it up it comes up 2 gig of ram.
im tryimg to get four gigs of ram.
i have two mods at 2 gigs each.
which slots do i put them in to get the full four gigs.
there are four slots and i need to know can iput them in order like 1 2 3 4
in bios it shows i have 4 gigs , but in sytems properties it shows only 2.5 gig.
the manual is confusing to me, sorry for the dumb question
