ATI - HD 3650 512MB GDDR3 work on Vista Home Basic?

the dude says it wont work on vista home basic. im running on Vista home basic. is this guy right or is it a load of crap?

I don't see how that won't work Vista basic. Anyways, Newegg rating and comments should be taken as a grain of salt, a lot of people there don't even know what they're talking about.

It would use the latest Catalyst suite. I'm using 8.53 drivers, Catalyst 8.9 with my 3xxx series card under Vista Home Premium and it's no problem. Always be cautious of Newegg customer reviews.

Any number of driver issues can cause problems. He might not have uninstalled prior drivers before installing the new ones. At any rate, always get the latest drivers when you first install a card, don't use the ones from the CD, they're usually a couple of versions out of date.
