one thats laptop, another lcd. i do with vga cabel

So the setup you have right now is your laptop is plugged into your LCD TV? You could try to plug the TV in and restart your computer with it plugged in. Since this isnt exactly like a monitor it may not detect it properly. Also you do have your TV set to the right input, like VGA?
