I have a Sony Vaio laptop which has always worked with wireless. This has suddenly stopped working - I can't see any wireless options at all. The Netgear router is working fine with another laptop and the Sony works when plugged into the router with a cable. It has a wireless green light and switch on the front which is on and starts green but then goes off. Any ideas please?

Does the LED light flicker? or completely stays off?

Look under Network Management, and find your connection. See the status, repair if needed, etc.

LED green light doesn't flicker - went into network management and seems to be working now. so thanks :)
