I'm having trouble with frequent file coruptions on a SeaGate SATA Drive connected to a GA-M57SLI-S4 motherboard.

Hard Drive and RAM have all passed Diagnostics and Power Supply does not seem to be the problem. After reinstalls still getting random file corruptions. Full details here.

Anyway, I have been recommended not to use the GigaByte Sata drivers and instead just use the stock microsoft windows ide drivers because the Nvidia RAID/SATA/IDE drivers are rubbish.

So this leads me to my question...

What are the stock microsoft windows ide drivers and where do I get them?
