Is it possible to run 2 video cards at once on my PC?
I am upgrading to a digital card so I can get the higher channels, but before I take out my analog card I thought maybe I could use both together. This way i could record multiple shows at once. Ultimately I would like to run a line for my 2 TVs, but for now I would just burn them to DVD.

My rig:

AMD 9850 quad
8 gigs RAM
Vista Home Premium
Winfast 2000XP expert (analog)
Winfast HDTV Cinema (digital)
Currently running onboard video (gigabit GA-MA78GPM-DS2H)

Thanks in advance

Let me get this right...

You want to know if you can add another Video Card to the PCIe your board has, right?

If that's the case, yeah, no problem at all. But reading and understanding that the final purpose of that is multi-streaming and multi-recording, i don't know actually.

I've heard (trade mark of fuzzing) that ATI can encode on their video cards, but i don't know actually. If that is so, get an ATI card. Else, your CPU is going to do more job.

Esop!

Thanks, i guess I'll hook both up and see if there is a problem with the software working together.
