Corsair PSU problem

Hey everyone My corsair 750W PSU came in today from neweggduring installing it I could not find the 4 plug cpu cable with my PSU that my cooler master extreme had it was black and yellow cable and it fit in on my asus p5k se board

so since I have a 4 pin CPU power connector on my board I'm guessing I have to get a new power supply exchange this one correct

No, you should be fine. The Corsair probably has an 8 pin CPU power connector, but it should still work fine. The first 4 pins on the 8 pin CPU power are the same as the older 4 pin connector.

cjl is dead on, I own that PSU, it has a 4+4 connector, you just have to slide it apart.
