Please help me oc my Athlon64 X2 4400+

Hey everyone,
Trying to increase my cpu juice to 2.4-2.5ghz.
I have a Asus a8n-sli premium motherboard.
And using corsair value select ram at 3gb.
I would like to overclock this without doing any voltage raising if possible.
But reading all the guides just made me more confused.
Anyone have a simple noob explanation to doing it?

You've tried all guides online and can't understand them? I double anyone here will take the time to explain everything in detail but, you could take one of those guides, and cross reference things you don't know with wikipedia. For example, if you don't know what the bios is.
