Everything will pretty much be bought from NCIX, unless there are deals elsewhere (Canadian), and I already bought the PSU.
Opinions/suggestions very much appreciated.

GPU : 4850x2, I think I'm about 80% on this...Is there a release date on these? I heard Mid September? I'm cheaping out with a P45 Mobo, or might go 2xPalit Radeons for 163 each http://www.ncix.com/products/index [...] omoid=1074 or maybe even 1x260 GTX for $240, what should I do?

PSU : Corsair HX620 - Will I be able to run a 4850x2 on this? I think it requires 2x6pin? Bought this sexy beast for $99 :D

Case : CM 690 - $80

Mobo : Asus P5Q-Pro - $140+free shipping for order ($50 value)

Heatsink : Sunbeam Core Contact Freezer - $40

RAM : Mushkin DDR800 5-4-4-12 at 1.8v - http://www.ncix.com/products/index [...] omoid=1074 I'm only going to OC the CPU to about 3.5 max. - $75

CPU : Intel E8400 - $180

HD : WD 640MB 7200RPM 16MB Buffer - $79

Grand total of $1019 with 2xPalit 4850
$933 with one 260 GTX

What should I do!? :(

Looks good with good reasoning behind your choices. I'd really try to wait for the HD4850x2. Good build. You could always go with a 9800GX2, but honestly i'd grit my teeth , cuss and wait for the 4850x2

Well I belive that PSU only has one rail so it should be O.k. Stick with Crossfire since you have a crossfire board. Build looks good.

ya, i'm only planning to go with a one GPU solution...4850x2 is the logical choice, but i just don't know when it's coming and i'm getting trigger happy :\
i went for a p45 to save about $150 compared to a x38/x48 mobo (100 diff+50 on shipping), which will allow me more money to splurge on a GPU(s), also saving on a nice modular PSU, only downfall is it only supports 2x6pin, so either cf 4850, or 1 GPU solutions. i'm gaming at 1920x1200, so i'll be needing a strong gpu that'll hold up for a while i wanna play d3/sc2 maxed :\
any idea on a release date for the 4850x2?
makes sense that the 4850x2 would come before the 4870x2, guess ati really wanted to push out nvidia for high end cards hah
