I just built my first PC to replace the last Dell I'll ever own.
I have the Gigabyte EP45-UD3R mobo and will need to change the cpu cooler before summer (no a/c in this old farm house).
I used the Antec Three Hundred case whitch is just a touch over 8" wide.
My question is does the mobo rely on some of the airflow from the stock intel cpu cooler blowing air down on the board? Or can I use a crossflow cooler like this http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16835202007?
