Actually that Jetway board is just an AM2+ board that will support AM3. If you look at some of the pics on AM3 CPUs you will notice that it looks alot like an AM2 CPU, but with a few less pins. That implies that those pins will be blocked off on AM3 boards to prevent using AM2 CPUs on them. After all, since the memory controllers are on the CPUs themselves, they would be unable to cope with the DDR3 memory of an AM3 board. I kinda wish AMD had done something like this with the 939 socket since early AM2 chips still had DDR support on account of they were the same as their 939 siblings just in a different package.
