Pentium D temp

Hey all.
Just put together a PC, using a Pentium D 830 @ 3.0ghz.
Max temp when the proc is maxed out using stock cooling : 61 degrees.
Is this good/bad/fine?

Hm. Yeah, I don't know, my case has a pretty good side vent. Top of the case gets a little warm but no problems so far. I'm using Speedfan to check.


Question about the processor,

I run Left 4 Dead, the newest source game, on highest settings. It's all great and fine, high fps, until a large mob of zombies comes, then the FPS drops down pretty low. Not unplayable, just fairly noticable. Is this a cause of my CPU?

No idea. Drop the resolution and see if it improves. If it doesn't, it's the CPU.

It will be more than likely the CPU, there will be alot of physics and AI involved which is mainly cpu dependant.
