Argh!

So I am making myself a new PC. Not a top end thing by any means. Spending about £400 on the whole lot minus case and hard drives. I dont do any top end gaming, just some occasional CS:S.

My budget for GPU is about £60, and was planning on getting a 512MB Sapphire HD 4670. However, this is out of stock at my preferred place and I have seen a 256MB PowerColor HD 3850 on sale for Today Only for £41.

So, which do I get?

1280x1024 or 1440x900 resolution monitor = 256MB HD 3850 is probably good for CS:S (and other games with limited graphics options/quality)

1680x1050 or 1600x1200 resolution monitor = 512MB HD 3850 / 512MB 4670 is the better choice, especially for possibility you'd want to try any of the more modern games.

What other graphics card options/prices are available to you?

Well, any card options are available really. I just thought since the 256MB PowerColor HD 3850 is reduced from 70 to 40, might be a good deal.

My price range is flexible, I just want the best bang per buck really, but up to about £65.

I am looking to upgrade to a 24" WS monitor soon with full HD 1920 x 1080 resolution to play HD moveis and such.
