Slow Download Speed but Fast Browsing Speed

about 2 months ago, my internet was fine

now my download is slow and never passes 100kb, its always at 90-100kb if either its a mirc download, bittorrent download or a direct download.

my dl speed usually is at 300 - 700kb

could it be my router?

Try resetting your router and modem and see if that helps.
Also do a malware/virus scan
