ps does anyone have a corsair 1000 in an antec p182 case? I thought i read somewhere it will fit as long as you remove the middle fan

You could run your current rig off a quality 450w unit without a problem.

Get the 750w only if your upgrading to a big gpu in the near future. Bear in mind that a good 600-700w will run SLI quite easily.

Ok so basically a 1000w unit is overkill. I am not a heavy pc gamer so i will never have more than 1 video card. My rig will always have

4 or 3 sticks or ram
quad core cpu
1 video card maybe i will get a nvidia 260
3 to 4 hard drives
2 burners (1 blu ray and 1 dvd-rw)

thanks ill do a little more reading then decide really appreciate everyone's help
