Dvd writer region problem

i have a destop of dell inspron 530 but the main problem is that
i have use my 4 DVD region changing period but the last changing option is not working
as i can read only DVD of region 3 but it is showing region 5 and not allowing me to change and telling me to insert dvd of region to which i want to change to change it
what can i do now replace my DVD writer or do any thing else
plzzzzzzzzzzzz help me
