hey guys i found 2 4850 cards one is by asus and the other by gecube and the price difference was around 100$. would u recommend a gecube? and wats the difference btw the 2?

The difference would be warranty and support (possibly cooling too if gecube uses some wonkey cooler). Could you provide links? I'm surprised of a 100$ difference on a 175$ card.

i live in lebanon ... with all the import tariffs and shipping it became 219$ sorry i dont have any links

Ok. One thing to check is the ram, there are two versions of the 4850, one with 1GB GDDR3 and one with 512MB GDDR3, that could be the reason for the dramatic change from brand name to off brand. As for being able to recommend a gecube I have no experience with them, maybe somebody else can back them up. Personally I'd feel more comfortable with the Asus.
