Burning CDs

Hello,
I have Windows XP. My CD drive will not recognize a blank disc, so I can't burn CDs. This was working up until about a year ago. The discs that I use work fine on other equipment.

Not all burners recognize all CD media. First I would go the the CD burner's manufacturer's website to see if there a firmware update for your burner. If there is, download and install it, then try the disc again. If there is not or the firmware update doesn't work, use another brand of CD media.
