This is my rig.. (below link)
http://valid.canardpc.com/show_oc.php?id=876664
Core Temps: steady 23c

i went into bios.. just turning the multiplier from auto to disabled keeping it on 266 it will restart over and over tell it defaults back to default settings...

Can someone help me out.. maybe im missing something.. im fairly new to this whole overclocking thing.. but my other pc runs an E6420@3.4ghz 24/7 without instability.. i dont understand the issue..

i gone through that guide about 10 times now.. making sure i am not missing something.. and i for the life am confused on this board.. it is not easy to do anything with it.. without it not posting.. just leaving everything default but the fsb multiplier with the stock 266 makes it not post.. i dont get it.

so i did some fiddling with things to see what was hanging it up...

I can adjust the following without any issues...

DDR2 v
PCI-E v
FSB v
(G)MCH v

My memory is listed on the website as 1.8v
found common overclock voltage for Q6600 as 1.38V

so i changed the following with it successfully posting...

DDR2 v +.01
PCI-E v +.01
FSB v +.01
(G)MCH v 1.375v

Issues Found:
1) The minute i adjust (ONLY) PCIe to anything other then AUTO it will not post and reset back to AUTO...
2) The minute i adjust (ONLY) FSB to ENABLED it will not post and reset back to AUTO...
3) The minute i adjust (ONLY) SPD to 2 it will not post and reset back to AUTO...

Vdroop or voltage drop.

I had the same mobo and same CPU. Max OC i could get was 3.4ghz.
That particular mobo,s PWM,s doesnt like the stress of a quad but 3ghz or higher
is pretty good for a Q66.

Good luck.

Summary of my present systems:
GA-EP45-UD3P | Q9550 OC'd to 3.6 GHz (425 MHz X 8.5)
GA-EP45-UD3L | Q6600 OC'd to 3.6 GHz (400 MHz X 9)
GA-EP35-DS3P | E5200 OC'd to 3.78 GHz (315 MHz X 12)
All systems Prime95 stable for 24 hour test run.

I originally had the Q6600 in the P35 board running at 3.6 GHz at 1.425 volts.
