Newb needs advice!

Greetings,

1st time builder, all parts purchased from the egg.

I had to RMA my PSU (Roswill 850 Extreme), it quit after 3 days. Tried to put the new one in tonight (mobo Gigabyte GA-MA78G-DS3H). With the ATX_12V and the ATX 24 pin connected, it will only flash the LED's then shut down. If I remove the ATX_12V connection, everything runs, but obviously I dont get display. Any advice you guys can share would be great.

Clear your BIOS and remove everything from the board save the CPU and one stick of RAM. If it doesn't boot up then your cheap PSU may have fried your board. Were you trying to use two 4870X2s or something?

I am only using 1 4850. Thanks I will try this
