Raid HD

Hello,
I have a 2 drive raid with ST3500418AS Drives. I had a drive go bad so I put a Back up in and started a rebuild. I started the rebuiled in Thursday at 11:00 AM and as of today it is only at 75% complete. I really don't think it should take this long to rebuild and 500 gig HD. How long should it take?

2-4 hours, but it might be configured to rebuild at a very low rate (5%) to allow you to work with it without feeling any slowdown.

You didn't tell what kind of RAID setup you use, though.
  2. It is a SATA Raid. I think. I'm pretty good with PC's but very new with Servers.
The program I use to look at it in Intel if that helps.
  3. I'm guessing RAID 1.

That sounds like way too long, even with low processor. Is it done yet? I'd run a utility to check for drive errors, make sure you have good backups.

It finished after 5 days with a build rate of 90%. Now I have to run the full back up...
