HDD isnot detected...

Hello !!!!!

I've Seagate 500 GB internal hard drive. But when I turn on my PC it says no bootable device is detected... then I checked my hard drive by connecting to another PC... but it is not detected and I've checked it on so many Pc's but in vain... I have lot of data in it... Please tell me any idea to repair it or to recover my data anyway ? Please help me to figure out this problem...

Would it be possible to slave it up to another computer's hard drive and run a hard drive check that way? Most of the time when you slave a hard drive, you can access the files on it too.

Ok I will try to check it in that way as well.... But if it doesn't work the is there any alternative option left ?
