Range of Wireless connection

I am moving approx 4-5 blocks away from where I currently have my wireless router connected. Due to circumstances beyond my control, I am not able to transfer my service to my new address at this time, but am able to keep it going at my old address.

My question is: would my desktop still be able to access my connection from my new address if I continued my connection at the old one? My wireless card is a D-Link WDA 1320. Any information would be appreciated. Thanks.
