hey guys i just recently got a 4850 and for some reason when i run speedfan it does not show its temperature. i had some **** nvidia card in my pc before cuz i had to wait another day for my card to arrive in the mail and that one displayed fine on speedfan. the weird thing is even when i hover over the ATI catalyst thing in the bottom right hand corner it says 0 degrees but when i open it and go to ATI overdrive settings menu it says its 43 degrees. wtf is going on?

Your program doesn't support the 4850. That's the reason i'd say.

Go download another monitoring program, or just use CCC.

I don't know if Ati Tray Tools support the 4850 fully now, but i know that rivatuner does it to some extent.

bah im baffled. i overclocked it yet it keeps switching between my overclocked settings and default factory standards. stupid card...

When u're not using it's 3D capabilities, CCC underclocks it. Wich i find a very smart move...

I have the exact same problem... and didn't find a solution yet

Oh, btw, Everest does not support it yet

****EDIT:GPU-Z fully identifies the temps... with that i can just put them on my G15 LCD screen
