SOYO SY-KT333 DRAGON Lite won't boot with PC2700 333MHz Memory

Hi

I have an old SOYO SY-KT333 mobo with Athlon XP 1800+ CPU. It works fine with a 266Mhz RAM. I'm trying to boot with kingston KVR333X64C25/1G, a 1G stick and it won't go beyong memory testing during bootup. Does anyone know why? I double checked manual, google and it says PC2700 memory is supported on this mobo. I don't hear any beeps or nothing. It just stays there after memory testing and it does find 1G RAM. I tried all 3 DIMMs and its same thing. I've changed DRAM clock to 166MHz for PC2700 memory as suggested by manual and it doesn't help.

What could be wrong?

It won't even enter BIOS when I press DEL key during mem testing.

I have the exact same problem, did you ever find out a solution? I would love to know.
