Failing hard drive?

Hi all,

I have a western digital Raptor drive and have had it for about 2 years now. Yesterday when I booted my system up, it began to make this slight chipring noise and right away I suspected the hard drive. it does it at random and it doesn't matter what application I'm running and it's usually just one or two chirps, then it won't happen for another hour or so. I downloaded the diagnostic tool from western digital, ran both tests and both of them passed. I've not had any lock-ups, BSOD or anything like that. My question here is: Should I be concerned at all about this seeing as nothing seems to be wrong with windows? Is this hard drive beginning to fail?

I apologize for this, but it was the fan that sits directly in front of the hdd making the noise, big relief on my part. Sorry for the false alarm.

Good catch! I would have suspected the Hard Drive as well.
