What are good 120mm and/or 140mm for this case?

However the "Antec 300 illusion", for $15 more, comes with some generic fans. I'm thinking a brand third party fan would be better quality and lifetime than the generics that come on this revision.

How about?

Thermaltake A2018 120mm Blue LED

Any suggestions?

The Antec fans in one review were not that bad actually. That was when I bought my 900 about 3 years ago. 3 speed switch etc.

Want the best current most popular low noise vs CFM and pressure?

Gentle Typhoons, the 1450 RPM is usually enough. Good luck finding them. I got a email that Jabtech had them in stock, I ordered my 6, 2 days later they were all gone. They had over 100 in stock, and not a huge online retialer, they cater to watercoolers mostly. Good store though.

+1.

Also add to the list of consideration: Yate Loons

For once I am going to agree with zip. He has a very good point.

Whats wrong with the stock Antec fans? The case ventilation, airflow, and cooling are excellent. There is no need to replace the fans. What makes you "think" third party fans "might" be better or last longer?

What's wrong with the fans that come with it??

I think the fan suggestions are IF the OP decides to go with the regular 300....

The 300 only comes with 2 Fans, the top 140mm (3 speed) and the rear 120mm (3speed), he will need at least 2 more for the front intakes.....Unless he decides to get the "Illusion" ;)

The only drawback with the Illusion is that all fans are 4 pin molex :??: not good at all when paired with a fan controller....
