Overclock isn`t recognised by My Computer?

Hi there, I`m new to the Comunity.
By the way, really nice and helpful stuff you`ve got here ;)

Latelly I`ve been trying to overclock my CPU Processor, Intel E2180 2.0 Ghz.

And I actually did it and on my BIOS setup screen the System Information says my System Speed is at 2480 Mhz (2.4 Ghz).

Well, the problem is that when I go to My Computer and go to the Properties it still says my Processor is running at 2.0 Ghz. And even installing other aplications that recognise my Components` ID it says its running at 2.0 Ghz.

How can this be?

The true issue, is that I will never know if the aplications I install are following that System Speed or the one the BIOS Setup says.

Can any one help me on this?

Thanks

Thats strange as usually properties in My computer after OC show speed higher than actual. But nevermind those, download latest CPU-Z and use that for checking your speeds and voltages.
