I currently have the asus p5q-e, if I were to buy an asus P5N7A-VM would I get better performance with all of the components i have in my pc now, core 2 duo 3.0ghz, nvidia 9800gtx, 4gb ddr2 ram? basically if I want sli I would need a knew motherboard and video card, with the P5N7A-VM I could have sli built in with just a motherboard upgrade. I also intend to recycle these parts in the future for an htpc so it would also work out in that way, the real question is would my current board out perform the P5N7A-VM in games and other applications?
