For some reason, if I set remote administration to use HTTPS, it will not connect. If I unselect "use https" I can connect fine just via http. But I'm not comfortable with this enabled without SSL. So.. I'm trying to figure out why it wont work with HTTPS.

 

I only have the option to check/uncheck the "use https" option under remote admin -IF- HTTPS is checked (in addition to HTTP) in the Web Access field above. Otherwise it's greyed out.

 

Is there some trick to this? Or maybe I should update firmware?

 

I'd like to just flash it with dd-wrt, but I'm afraid of bricking the router, and I just haven't felt like dealing with it now.
