Need help choosing a Power Supply fan

I have a Mad Dog power supply which has a 120mm cooling fan rated
at +12Vdc @ .38A. If I get a 120mm case fan with a lower current
rating (let's say .25A vs .38A) will that slow down the fan a bit and reduce
noise (though I realize the PS will run hotter)? Thanks

More about need choosing power supply
  1. the amperage is draw by the fan and could be based on lots of other things besides fan speed and noise .

Approach this from the other angle . Get a fan that has the same flow rating [ CFM or whatever ] but is quieter. Ignore how much current it draws
